Porter, a second-round pick in the 2000 NFL draft, led the Raiders in all three major receiving categories last season with 64 catches for 998 yards and nine touchdowns. He set career high in yards and catches and tied his career best in TDs. "We're excited to have Jerry back in silver and black for the long term," Raiders coach Norv Turner said. "Although he posted career numbers last year, we feel that Jerry's best football is still ahead of him." In five seasons, Porter has 163 receptions for 2,273 yards and 19 TDs. "I'm happy to return to the Raiders and I'm ready to get started on a new football season," Porter said. offense's main threat, the Raiders turned their attention to the defense and tagged Woodson as their franchise player for the second consecutive season. The fourth overall pick in the 1998 draft, Woodson is a four-time Pro Bowler with 16 interceptions in seven seasons. "We're pleased to retain the services of Charles Woodson," Turner said. It will cost Oakland $10.529 million for the one-year qualifying offer that comes along with the franchise designation.
